This NJDEP approved course fulfills the NJDEP course requirement for regulatory training and must be taken within one year prior to renewal. NJDEP Case Study Training for LSRPs

This interactive one-day workshop will engage Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) and other environmental professionals to work through a typical Site Remediation Program (SRP) Case starting with an ISRA triggering event, through all the phases of remediation (PA/SI/RI and RA), including applying for and implementing a remedial action permit and culminating in the issuance of an RAO. The participants will use the various tools, guidance and resources provided by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) to ensure all forms, and documents are properly prepared and submitted within the applicable timeframes established in ARRCS and the Tech Rules. Upon LSRP Board Approval, this course will satisfy the pre-requisite course requirement in order to take the LSRP Licensing Exam OR will qualify for Regulatory Continuing Education Credits. It will not count for both. More information here

and LSRP Program Concerns

What should you consider about the LSRP program in a real estate/corporate transactions?  What are buyer/seller considerations with regard to retention of the LSRP, use of engineering controls & institutional controls, insurance coverage, access, and ISRA v. Spill Act cases?  In this 2-hour morning CLE session you will learn about what due diligence to perform in your purchase and sale transactions and methods for dealing with environmental issues that may arise.  You will also learn practice tips for ISRA compliance, performing due diligence, and allocating responsibility for addressing environmental issues.  Whether you are involved in a merger, acquisition or real estate transaction, you will be able to identify certain environmental issues and learn how you might navigate through (or around) those issues to close your deal. For more information

With the advent of the Site Remediation Form Act in 2009, the process of remediating sites in NJ has been reinvented.  Now, a team consisting of the remediating party and an LSRP can remediate a site with minimal involvement of the NJDEP.  This process imposes obligations on both parties and, in order to affect an efficient remediation, it is important that each of the two parties understand their respective obligations under the law.  This program is designed for both the responsible party and the licensed site remediation professional. This half-day course is designed to discuss the significant responsibilities associated with the SRRA law and will include those individuals who have not been routinely involved in LSRP matters, but now find themselves being able to benefit from this program.  For more information

This one-day program will look at opportunities for applying site specific risk assessment techniques under NJDEP’s regulatory framework for site remediation. The focus of this course will be on assessing human health impacts through the development and application of Alternative Remediation Standards through Site Specific Risk Assessment techniques allowed under the Site Remediation Program.  Basics on understanding Risk Assessment and Risk Management and New Jersey’s Remediation Standard Legislative Framework will be reviewed. The program will include focus on NJDEP Alternative Remediation Standards Processes for various exposure pathways.  In addition, applying the Conceptual Site Model to assess potential exposure pathways will be highlighted.  For more information
